What Is Going On?

Is it just me, or does it seem like America is descending into chaos in 2026? Often violent, chaotic and relentless anti-ICE protests. Widespread mass takeovers. Rampaging, fighting, stabbings, and shootings (including at school graduations). Even the NBA playoffs are erupting in mass chaos in the streets of NYC. This happening all across the United States in cities large and small, often for no apparent reason was terrorism, including sexual assaults, rapes, vandalism, thefts, gang beatings homicides and other crimes.
America in 2026 reminds me of a scene from the 2012 movie “Man On Fire.” It is the scene where Denzel Washington’s bodyguard character confronts the dad whose young daughter had been kidnapped for ransom. Just then, the wife walks in on the tense confrontation, asking, “What’s going on?” To which Denzel responds, “That’s what I want to know. What IS going on?”
Anyone watching the current chaotic state of much of America today can legitimately ask this very same question about the chaos, turmoil, upheaval embroiling cities increasingly all across America. What IS Going On?!
